Early Bird is a 2-player video game where player 1 (the robin) tries to catch player 2 (the earthworm).

The bird must capture the worm before time runs out; the worm must evade the bird until time runs out.

The game features a unique terrain system. The bird must use his shovel to dig holes to reach the worm, while the worm can move freely through the ground.

Tips

• As the bird, try splitting the map in half by digging a huge hole in the middle. This'll force the worm to cross eventually, and you can try to capture him as he does.
• As the bird, the worm is easier to capture the lower its health is.
• As the bird, if you have trouble digging in a certain spot, you are either (a) too close to a pile of dirt or (b) in a position where you would scoop up more dirt than is allowed. If (a), try backing up a little; if(b), try a different spot.
• As the worm, you can collapse the terrain by pressing RIGHT SHIFT. Do this when you are low on health to make eating dirt easier.
• As the worm, create tunnels from which you can safely shoot dirt out of to hit the bird.
